Twenty-five portraits of the most prestigious award-winning Slovenian actors, photographed while acting. Photographic portrait itself is paradoxical - part of the enigma can be attributed to the nature of the ambiguous display of the individual’s identity, caught on the flat surface of a static, framed image. The question that arises is which identity, as the theory separates a few: identity as self image, identity as a set of qualities attributed to the individual by others, or identity of the individual as a member of different social systems.
